The event brought together representatives of the Ministry of Education of Oman, students of the school and their parents. Guests were introduced to national costumes, traditional handicrafts and local cuisine, providing a vivid insight into Uzbekistan’s cultural diversity.

As part of their visit, the Uzbek business delegation toured the “Khazaen” Special Economic City in Muscat. During the presentation, it was highlighted that Khazaen functions as an integrated logistics and industrial hub, encompassing a special free economic zone, a dry port, warehouses, residential complexes and commercial facilities.

On February 5 of the current year, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, held a meeting with Mr. Qais Al-Yusuf, Chairman of Oman’s Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones. During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues related to the development of bilateral economic cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on current issues of bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector. They also discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in agriculture, food security, and the introduction of modern technologies.

On January 28 of this year, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Abdusalom Khatamov, held a cordial meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Sultanate of Oman, Professor Muhammet Hekimoglu. During the meeting, a number of issues of mutual interest to both sides were discussed.

Ambassador A. Khatamov held a cordial and substantive meeting with his counterpart, Ambassador Dr. M. Bougazi. During the meeting, the two sides engaged in a constructive exchange of views on a number of issues of mutual interest.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, held a meeting with Mr. Nidal al-Hanbali, the General Manager of Agriculture and Fisheries Development LLC. During the meeting, they discussed matters of cooperation in the field of agricultural product exports.

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Sultanate of Oman (whose headquarters is located in Kuwait City), Mr. Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda, at the Embassy of Uzbekistan. During the meeting, they had an in-depth exchange of views on a number of important issues of mutual interest.
