Today, cooperation agenda between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan is gradually taking on a regional dimension. Tashkent and Baku are increasingly viewed not merely as two independent technology hubs, but as potential links connecting the innovation ecosystems of Central Asia and the South Caucasus.

During the meeting, the sides held a cordial and substantive exchange of views on Uzbekistan–Germany relations and other issues of mutual interest.

Today, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are connected not only by a shared border and close historical and cultural ties. A common economic space is gradually emerging, built on mutual trade, industrial cooperation, joint investment, and direct ties between businesses and regions.

Over the past decade, the two countries have moved from resolving accumulated issues to implementing concrete projects. The border is becoming a link rather than a barrier, while the complementary nature of the two economies is creating new opportunities.

Over the past decade, the socio-economic, cultural, humanitarian, scientific, and educational relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the countries of Central Asia have clearly demonstrated that the region's strategic partners have entered a fundamentally new stage of mutually beneficial cooperation.

In recent years, the development of regional cooperation has become one of the key drivers of sustainable growth in the global tourism industry. An increasing number of travelers are choosing to explore entire regions rather than individual countries, attracted by their shared history, cultural heritage, and convenient transport connectivity. As a result, the development of cross-border tourism routes and the joint promotion of tourism products are now widely recognized as effective tools for enhancing international competitiveness.

Central Asia continues to strengthen its position as one of the world's most promising tourism destinations, attracting an increasing number of travelers thanks to its rich historical and cultural heritage, unique natural landscapes, and expanding regional cooperation. Uzbekistan plays a key role in this process by consistently implementing large-scale tourism reforms, improving tourism infrastructure, and actively promoting the country's tourism potential on the international stage. During the first half of 2026, Uzbekistan welcomed more than 6.5 million foreign visitors for tourism purposes, nearly 25% more than during the same period last year. In May and June alone, the country received over 2.5 million international tourists, confirming the steady growth of global interest in Uzbekistan's tourism offerings.

Today, Asia is playing a decisive role in global economic processes, bringing together major production capacities, rapidly growing consumer markets, and technological and financial centres. At the same time, geopolitical developments, changes in global trade and logistics chains, climate risks, and intensifying competition for investment resources are further increasing the importance of dialogue and practical cooperation among Asian countries.

During the talks, the sides noted that Denmark is one of Uzbekistan’s promising partners in Europe.

A wide range of promising areas for cooperation were discussed, including strengthening political dialogue, developing the green economy, and expanding scientific exchanges.
