In the context of increasing global polarization, declining trust in state institutions, and growing pressure on freedom of expression and parliamentary independence, the question of rethinking and strengthening the role of parliaments becomes particularly relevant.

During the meeting, the parties held a thorough discussion on deepening economic cooperation between the two countries, expanding trade relations, and increasing the volume of bilateral trade. In particular, they exchanged views on enhancing investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Oman, creating favorable conditions for mutual investments, establishing joint ventures, and supporting promising projects.
