From June 23 to 25 of this year, the Public Service Forum was held in Samarkand under the auspices of the United Nations. The event was attended by a delegation from the Sultanate of Oman, led by Minister of Labor Mahad bin Said Baawain.

On June 12, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, the parties held a thorough discussion on deepening economic cooperation between the two countries, expanding trade relations, and increasing the volume of bilateral trade. In particular, they exchanged views on enhancing investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Oman, creating favorable conditions for mutual investments, establishing joint ventures, and supporting promising projects.
