From the Uzbek side, the meeting was co-chaired by Erkin Fayziyevich Gadoyev, head of the friendship group for cooperation with Oman in the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and Chairman of the Committee on Budget and Economic Issues, and from the Omani side by Sheikh Hilal bin Ali bin Zahir al-Hinaiy, Deputy Chairman of the State Council.
During the discussions, issues related to strengthening bilateral cooperation between the customs services and law enforcement agencies of the two countries were thoroughly addressed.
During the visit, the delegation ознакомился closely with the library established at the initiative of Sheikh Aflah within the company’s premises, which houses rare manuscripts related to Islamic religion and culture. This visit left a deep impression on the guests. It was also emphasized that Sheikh Aflah’s noble and educational initiatives deserve high recognition and appreciation.
It is noted that this project represents a significant step toward the development of the country's transport infrastructure. According to the publication, the project involves the reconstruction of 91 kilometres of road, transforming the existing two-lane route into a modern four-lane highway.

In particular, the country ranked 86th out of 184 nations, scoring 60.3 points. This marks an increase of 2.3 points compared to the previous year.
Lamine Zeroual, who headed Algeria from 1994 to 1999, was born on July 3, 1941 in Batna, Algeria. From the age of 16, he served in the National Liberation Army, which fought to liberate Algeria from French rule. After the declaration of independence in 1962, he studied in Moscow and Paris. Returning to Algeria, L. Zeroual continued his military and main work activities. In particular, in 1990-1991 he worked as the Ambassador of Algeria to Romania.
The parties highly appreciated the activities of the Uzbekistan–Oman Joint Investment Company, established with the participation of the Oman Investment Authority, which is currently making a достойный (significant) contribution to the economy of Uzbekistan.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed in detail the prospects of supplying high-quality fruits and vegetables grown in Uzbekistan to the Omani market.
