The Omani side was informed about the tourism potential of our country, the infrastructure created in this area, the introduction of a 30-day visa-free regime for citizens of the Gulf Arab countries, in particular Omanis, to Uzbekistan, and the planned launch of direct flights on the Muscat-Tashkent route in the near future.
During the meeting, issues of establishing academic ties, exchanging experiences, and organizing visits between the Oman Royal Academy of Administration and the Academy of Public Policy and Governance under the President of Uzbekistan were discussed.
The publications reported that it has become easier for citizens of Oman and other Gulf Arab states to travel abroad, as several foreign countries, including Uzbekistan, have canceled entry visas for citizens of Gulf states for up to thirty days.
According to the Decree No. PF-87 of the President of Uzbekistan, dated May 15, 2025, starting from June 1, 2025, a visa-free regime will be implemented for citizens of the Sultanate of Oman, allowing them to stay in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 30 days from the date of entry.
