During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation. Sheikh Salim Ali Al-Siyabi, who is активно involved in real estate development and investment projects across the Sultanate, expressed interest in exploring new opportunities for partnership with Uzbekistan.
The introduction of direct air service between Muscat and Tashkent is expected to create new opportunities for expanding cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, and cultural exchange. The new route will contribute to strengthening business ties, increasing tourist flows, and further enhancing people-to-people connections between the two countries.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the current year, including the organization of joint cultural events, exhibitions, and educational initiatives aimed at deepening cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Oman.

As part of their visit, the Uzbek business delegation toured the “Khazaen” Special Economic City in Muscat. During the presentation, it was highlighted that Khazaen functions as an integrated logistics and industrial hub, encompassing a special free economic zone, a dry port, warehouses, residential complexes and commercial facilities.
