During the meeting, the parties discussed establishing cooperation with Uzbek banks and exchanging expertise in the field of Islamic finance.

Of course, the title of this article might seem to impart a gloomy spirit to the content as a whole. However, we intend absolutely no reproach. We are not condemning the past or holding grudges against the deceased. Furthermore, there is no need to seek examples from dark periods of history to reflect on the value of our achievements today.

During the meeting, the two sides engaged in a substantive discussion on the current state of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Oman. They also exchanged views on the prospects for deepening cooperation across various fields.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, held discussions with K.A. Shabeer, the regional head of "Lulu International Group," which owns more than 30 supermarkets in the Sultanate of Oman, and Subair Mohammed Ali, the Executive Director of "Berry Mount Vegetables and Fruit Trading LLC," one of the major trading companies in the Middle East. The talks focused on accelerating the export of agricultural products grown in Uzbekistan to the Sultanate.
