On April 29th, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš, arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit.

Following talks held in Tashkent, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš signed a Joint Declaration on the promotion of expanded cooperation.

Negotiations were held between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš, in a narrow format and with the participation of the two countries’ delegations at the Kuksaroy Residence.

On April 30, an official welcome ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy Residence for the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš, who is on an official visit to Uzbekistan.

Starting from July 3, 2026, regular flights on the Muscat–Tashkent route are scheduled to commence.

Sincere appreciation was expressed to the organizers of the event, particularly to Ms. Sixam Al-Kharsiy, for the kind invitation and warm hospitality.

Additionally, at the initiative of the company, direct investment was attracted to Uzbekistan, leading to the establishment of a modern “Agro Food Techno Center” laboratory specializing in the certification of food products in accordance with international standards.

The second meeting on “Current issues of cooperation between Central Asian countries and the Gulf States in the context of a changing regional order” was organized by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Gulf Research Center.
