On September 22 in New York City President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva.

The meeting focused on organizational aspects of the upcoming academic seminar scheduled to be held this month at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, held a meeting with Ambassador Najib Al-Balushi, Chief of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman.

On September 20-24, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to the city of New York to attend the events of the 80th jubilee session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, President of Uzbekistan will deliver a keynote address on the first day of organizing the general debate of the UN General Assembly plenary session.
