International Exhibition for Education and Learning Technologies – Ta’lim Expo / ISUE will take place in Tashkent on November 10–12, 2026.

On September 29 of this year, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Abdusalom Khattamov, held a meeting with His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa Al-Harithi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman for Political Affairs.

During the meeting, the two sides engaged in a substantive discussion on the current state of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Oman. They also exchanged views on the prospects for deepening cooperation across various fields.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Oman, Mr. Abdusalom Khatamov, held a productive meeting with one of Oman’s prominent businesswomen, Ms. Siham Al-Harthiya, the head of "Funun Hospitality and Project Management LLC."

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to elevate cooperation between Uzbek and Omani businesswomen to a new level, exchange experiences and knowledge, and support joint initiatives.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi in New York.

"Had a comprehensive meeting with H.E. Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, on the sidelines of UNGA80, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – We discussed ways to further strengthen Uzbekistan–Oman relations, the agenda of upcoming events, focusing on untapping huge potential we have.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, held discussions with K.A. Shabeer, the regional head of "Lulu International Group," which owns more than 30 supermarkets in the Sultanate of Oman, and Subair Mohammed Ali, the Executive Director of "Berry Mount Vegetables and Fruit Trading LLC," one of the major trading companies in the Middle East. The talks focused on accelerating the export of agricultural products grown in Uzbekistan to the Sultanate.

Delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the informal ministerial meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in New York.

"Pleased to take part in the Informal Meeting of the CICA Ministerial Council, - wrote Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on his official telegram-channel. - The discussions offered an excellent opportunity to exchange views with colleagues on key regional and global developments, as well as on strengthening confidence-building measures across Asia.

During a video conversation initiated by our Embassy, one of the prominent figures of the Sultanate of Oman — Professor Muhammad Al-Hajri, member of the upper house of parliament (State Council), senator, and Chairman of the Committee on Social and Cultural Affairs — gave an interview to UzA.

It should be noted that Professor Muhammad Al-Hajri directly participated in the international scientific-practical conference titled "Islam — a Religion of Peace and Benevolence," held in Tashkent and Khiva in October 2024.
