Negotiations between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić took place at the "Kuksaroy" residence with the participation of official delegations.

On October 28 at “Kuksaroy” residence, an official meeting ceremony was held for the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić who’s paying an official visit to our country. 

During the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to further develop friendly relations and cooperation across political, economic, cultural, and other areas.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the American delegation headed by the Special Envoy of the U.S. President for South and Central Asian affairs Sergio Gor.

During the negotiations, the unprecedented dynamics of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and the United States of America – progress in all spheres, from trade and investment to education and innovation – were especially noted.

Today, Uzbekistan continues to steadily strengthen its cooperation with the international community in education, science, culture, and innovation. In this process, the country’s partnership with UNESCO holds a special place. Uzbekistan became a member of UNESCO in 1993 – a historic step that paved the way for integrating the national education system, scientific potential, and rich cultural heritage into the global intellectual space.

The resilience of Finland’s development model and the dynamism of Uzbekistan’s reforms provide a solid foundation for deepening bilateral cooperation. Finland combines technological leadership, efficient governance, and a robust social policy. Its mixed model of development with strong public regulation and an active private sector is based on long-term planning, technological excellence, and social equality.
