On November 30, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, participated in the 5th round of the Central Asia-China Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Chengdu.

At the UN, as an official document of the General Assembly has been distributed in English, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and French, highlighting the unique institution of mahalla in Uzbekistan.

In today’s era of global change, the value and significance of this resource are continuously growing. Recognizing the urgent need for effective measures, given that water scarcity could seriously impact socio-economic stability in Central Asia, Uzbekistan, under the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is focusing on the comprehensive development of water management and the rational use of water resources. This includes the extensive implementation of digital and water-saving irrigation technologies, which is already yielding positive results.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Bishkek on 5-6 November.
