The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Sultanate of Oman organized an online video conference with the participation of representatives of the Uzbekistan Ministry of Agriculture and the company “Atyab Foodtech” on June 30, 2020. During this meeting they discussed the organizational and technical issues of the implementation of the investment project in the Ferghana region to create a “Technology Center for Food Certification” with the assistance of Omani side.

The online meeting with the head of the representative office of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Oman, J. Al-Hammami, was held on June 30 this year. During this conversation, the issues of establishing cooperation with Oman Charitable Organizations, including in providing humanitarian assistance to the Uzbekistan regions of experiencing environmental problems were discussed. The interlocutor was also provided with detailed information on the activities of the multi-partner trust fund of the UN on the human security for the Aral Sea region in Uzbekistan.

The forum brought together 500 participants, including the representatives of business circles from 40 countries, members of diplomatic corps and foreign mass media.
