On June 12, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, the parties held a thorough discussion on deepening economic cooperation between the two countries, expanding trade relations, and increasing the volume of bilateral trade. In particular, they exchanged views on enhancing investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Oman, creating favorable conditions for mutual investments, establishing joint ventures, and supporting promising projects.

The parties also emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in industrial collaboration, implementing innovations, sharing experience in high technologies, and developing the “green” economy. At the end of the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to promote concrete initiatives serving mutual interests and agreed to continue the dialogue on a consistent basis.
