Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Oman and concurrently Non-Resident Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Abdusalom Khatamov, Visits Beirut and Meets with Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament

During his visit to Beirut, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman and concurrently Non-Resident Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Abdusalom Khatamov, held a meeting with H.E. Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Parliament of the Lebanese Republic and one of the country's prominent political figures.

In the course of the constructive dialogue, special attention was given to strengthening inter-parliamentary relations as an important aspect of enhancing bilateral cooperation.

Speaker Berri expressed interest in intensifying ties between the legislative bodies of both countries and expanding cooperation in the political and humanitarian spheres.
