On September 10, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Russian delegation headed by the governor of the city of Saint Petersburg Alexander Beglov.

During his visit to Beirut, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman and concurrently Non-Resident Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Abdusalom Khatamov, held a meeting with H.E. Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Parliament of the Lebanese Republic and one of the country's prominent political figures.

From September 10 to 13, 2025, Tashkent and Samarkand will host the Second International Dialogue of Declarations Forum, organized by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies (ISRS) under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the American NGO Love Your Neighbor Community (LYNC), with the support of the Committee on Religious Affairs, the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Samarkand Regional Hokimiyat.

On September 8, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the head of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) Gianni Infantino.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Alharthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman today at the Foreign Ministry, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – We discussed the agenda of upcoming events between our countries. Underscored that Uzbekistan and Oman possess many opportunities that can serve for the best interests of people in both countries.
