These dedicated students, representing the Turkic world, are making every effort to strengthen their academic knowledge, enhance their professional skills, and broaden their cultural horizons. The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, during which sincere appreciation was expressed to the students who are proudly and достойно representing their home countries in the Arab region.

During the meeting, the Embassy discussed holding a joint cultural and humanitarian event in the Sultanate of Oman to mark this important date. The purpose of the event is to introduce Omani society to the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic world and to strengthen intercultural exchange between the Turkic-speaking countries and the Sultanate of Oman.

At the initiative of the Embassy, an online meeting was held today between Uzbek exporting companies and representatives of Lulu Hypermarket — one of the largest retail chains in the Sultanate of Oman — with the aim of enhancing trade relations between Uzbekistan and Oman. During the meeting, prospects for cooperation were discussed in detail.

During the conversation, the parties discussed in detail issues related to cooperation in the field of personnel training, the exchange of experience, as well as organizing reciprocal visits of officials responsible for this sector.

The journalist, who visited Uzbekistan with his friends in September this year, noted that he was inspired by our country’s glorious history, unique nature, rich culture, and the scientific heritage of our great ancestors.

On 24 November of this year, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, H.E. Abdusalom Khatamov, met with the Omani Minister of Health, H.E. Hilal bin Ali Al-Sabti. During the meeting, the sides discussed the current cooperation between Uzbekistan and Oman in the field of healthcare, as well as preparations for signing a document aimed at expanding collaboration in medical training, knowledge exchange, and the development of healthcare. Future initiatives intended to further strengthen the partnership for the benefit of both countries were also reviewed.

During the meeting, the parties engaged in a meaningful discussion on strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Oman in the field of tourism and elevating it to a new level.

During the conversation, it was noted once again that Islam serves as a timeless and borderless bond that unites people. It was highlighted that Islam was introduced to the territory of modern-day Uzbekistan by the Arabs, and since then, our land has produced great Muslim scholars who have enlightened millions and continue to inspire generations around the world.

On 12 November 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Abdusalom Khatamov, held a meeting with Mr. Abdullatif Khunhi, Head of the Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals, Member of the Board of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Investments.

Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan in the field of labor migration has significantly expanded in recent years, becoming one of the key pillars of the broader strategic partnership. What began in 2019 with the signing of initial legal frameworks has evolved by 2025 into a comprehensive system that includes professional training, Japanese-language education, digital platforms, employer partnerships, and large-scale employment programs.

On December 12, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in an International Forum in Ashgabat dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, the International Day of Neutrality, and the declaration of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust".

On December 11, upon arrival in Ashgabat, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

At the Kuksaroy residence, negotiations were held between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Paraguay Santiago Peña, with the participation of official delegations.

In recent years, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan have been shaping a new model of economic interaction in which the driving force is no longer political declarations but the tangible expansion of trade, industrial cooperation, and investment ties. The two countries are gradually transitioning from episodic initiatives to a systemic partnership grounded in predictable regulation, regular intergovernmental dialogue, and the steady growth of joint economic projects. While high-level contacts set the overall strategic direction, the substance of bilateral relations today is increasingly defined by concrete economic decisions and infrastructure-driven development.

In December 2025, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Japan and take part in the high-level Central Asia + Japan Dialogue summit.

Transport cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan is now taking on strategic importance, shaping a new architecture of connectivity in Central Asia and creating additional opportunities for the region to enter the wider Eurasian space. 

On 7 December 2025, as part of the annual Doha Forum, a dedicated session will be held focusing on the Termez Dialogue on connectivity between Central and South Asia, under the motto: “Rebuilding Afghanistan through Regional Connectivity: The Termez Dialogue.”
