The Uzbek side presented a portfolio of ready-to-launch project initiatives across multiple sectors, including petrochemicals, energy, mining, engineering, agriculture, textiles, food processing, logistics, and tourism. Practical aspects of Uzbekistan’s investment climate were outlined in detail, highlighting guarantees for investor protection, tax and customs incentives, preferential treatment in industrial zones, and a special regime for strategic projects.

According to Oman’s National News Agency (ONA), during the visit, on August 19 in Muscat, Minister Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yousef. The two sides discussed the development of trade and economic cooperation between the friendly nations, including issues related to investment, imports and exports, and promising directions in the fields of industry and commerce.

Such contacts serve as an important foundation for deepening the partnership dialogue and strengthening the friendly ties between both countries.

During the conversation, issues of organizing a business visit of Omani businesswomen to Uzbekistan in August this year were discussed. Within the framework of the visit, mutually beneficial areas of cooperation was agreed for consideration and opportunities to discuss new projects in the fields of trade, investment and tourism.

As part of the official visit of the delegation led by the Chairman of the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee to Muscat from July 5 to 7 of this year, a "Road Show" tourism forum was held under the slogan "Uzbekistan – The Pearl of the Silk Road".

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, held a productive meeting with Mr. Humaid al-Maani, Director of the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman. During the meeting, he discussed the further development of cooperation between the diplomatic academies of Uzbekistan and Oman, as well as the organization of joint diplomatic courses in both countries aimed at enhancing the professional skills of young diplomats from the two nations.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, held a thorough discussion with Mr. Ahmad al-Maskari, Head of the Central Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman, and his colleagues on the current state and prospects of bilateral political, economic, and cultural relations.

To discuss ways to increase the flow of tourists from Oman to Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Oman Abdusalom Khatamov met with Ejaz Kazi, head of one of the largest tourism companies in the Sultanate, E-Travel & Tourism, on August 4. During the conversation, the possibility of sending a delegation of representatives of the Sultanate's largest tourism companies and bloggers on an infotour to Uzbekistan was discussed.

- I first visited Uzbekistan 15 years ago. I returned to Uzbekistan in May of this year to participate in an important investment forum in Tashkent. During my visit, I had the honor of meeting with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. We asked to meet with the leader of Uzbekistan, and he agreed. I was amazed by how humble he is and how sincerely he wants to encourage foreign investors to come to Uzbekistan.

It noted that on July 5-7 of this year, the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee, together with the Embassy of our country, held events dedicated to the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

The events dedicated to the tourism potential of Uzbekistan were opened by a concert by the Mukarram Turgunbayeva State Dance Ensemble "Bahor". The concert program, which took place at the Mall of Oman shopping center in Muscat, was met with great interest by Omanis and foreign tourists.

The article emphasizes that as part of our country's active policy to develop foreign tourism and strengthen international cooperation in this direction, a number of major events are being organized in Arab countries from July 6-10 of this year.

On August 27, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation headed by minister of foreign affairs of Japan Takeshi Iwaya, who’s currently in our country with an official visit.

In accordance with the decrees of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, representatives of various spheres were awarded with titles, orders and medals on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence. 

During the state visit of the King of Jordan, a ceremony was held to award the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the Order of Jordan “Al Nahda” (“Renaissance”).

Following fruitful negotiations in Samarkand, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan adopted a joint statement on strengthening partnership relations.

On August 25–26, at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, King Abdullah II of Jordan will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan.

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan arrived in our country on August 25 with a state visit.

Upon his arrival in Samarkand, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, according to tradition, first visited the mausoleum of Imam Bukhari. Suras from the Quran and duas were recited.

Today, New Uzbekistan is steadily advancing along the path of irreversible democratic reforms, pursuing a pragmatic foreign policy, maintaining open and active dialogue with the international community, and carrying out large-scale reforms aimed at strengthening guarantees for the protection of human rights and freedoms. In particular, within the framework of the Uzbekistan–2030 Strategy, concrete measures are being implemented to improve guarantees and institutional mechanisms for the protection of human rights and freedoms in accordance with the State Program “Year of Environmental Protection and the Green Economy.”

The meeting was co-chaired by Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

The discussion was very open and cordial. Both sides reflected on the impressive progress in Qatar’s development and explored ways for Uzbekistan and Qatar to further strengthen cooperation across trade, investment, innovation, education, and cultural exchange. Particular attention was given to unlocking new opportunities that directly benefit the well-being of both peoples.
