On October 28 of this year, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Algeria in Muscat between the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Abdusalom Khatamov, and the Ambassador of Algeria to Oman, Mr. Mohamed Ali Bougazzi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for expanding diplomatic cooperation and bilateral relations, and agreed to continue active dialogue in the future.

On October 28 of this year, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Abdusalom Khatamov, held a meeting with Ms. Olga Selikh, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Oman. Ambassador Selikh is beginning her mission as the first resident ambassador of Ukraine to Oman.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect and sincerity. The sides discussed the activities of the diplomatic missions of both countries and prospects for future cooperation.

The tournament "Asia Rugby Emirates Women's Sevens Trophy 2025" was held in Oman on October 25-26 this year.

15 teams from the Asian continent took part in it, including the women's national team of Uzbekistan. Rugby players of our country fought in group "A". The women's national team of Uzbekistan, which first won 39-0 over the Lebanese national team, lost to the Iranian national team 5-12 in the second round.

"Following an initiative by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Oman and at the invitation of the Sultanate of Oman, a business forum for women entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Oman was held in Muscat from 25 to 28 February 2025."

The event marked an important step in strengthening trade and economic cooperation between businesswomen of the two countries, promoting the exchange of experience and implementation of joint projects. As a result of the forum, nine cooperation agreements were signed among participants.

During the meeting, the prospects for establishing and developing mutually beneficial cooperation between “Salam Air” and our Republic were discussed. In particular, special attention was given to launching direct flights, expanding the geography of flights, and developing tourism and business ties.

It should be noted that Professor Muhammad Al-Hajri directly participated in the international scientific-practical conference titled "Islam — a Religion of Peace and Benevolence," held in Tashkent and Khiva in October 2024.
