The events dedicated to the tourism potential of Uzbekistan were opened by a concert of the "Bahor" State Dance Ensemble named after Mukarrama Turgunbayeva. The concert program, which took place at the "Mall of Oman" shopping center in Muscat, was met with great interest by Omanis and foreign tourists.

During the visit of our delegation, a "Road Show" event dedicated to the presentation of Uzbekistan's tourism was held in the ceremonial hall of the "InterContinental Hotel". It was attended by representatives of the tourism industry of Uzbekistan and Oman, heads of tour companies and travel agencies.

The event began with a concert program by the "Bahor" State Dance Ensemble and the Omani group "Al-Shahbaa", a participant in the IV International Bakhshi Art Festival held in Khiva on April 23-25 of this year.

Ambassador Abdusalom Khatamov, in his speech at the opening of the "Road Show" event, spoke about the current state and prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and Oman. Information was provided on the latest developments in all areas of our country, in particular, the development of the tourism sector, the construction of new hotels, and the conditions provided to foreign tourists.

The presentation on the tourism potential of our country, held by the staff of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan, aroused great interest among Omanis.

Traveler Nasir al-Numani, who has been actively promoting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Oman, spoke about his impressions during his visits to our country. He also touched upon the tourism potential of our country, changes in our country, respect and attention to tourists, and the historical ties that bind the two countries.

As part of the "Road Show" event, a "B2B" meeting was organized between representatives of Uzbek-Oman tourism companies.

During the visit, Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan Umid Shodiev held official meetings with Omani Minister of Tourism Salim al-Mahruki and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hamud al-Saadi. They discussed the development of bilateral relations in the field of tourism, the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the tourism departments of the two countries, and the organization of a visit of Omani businesswomen to Uzbekistan in August this year.
