A delegation from Uzbekistan, headed by Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov, paid a working visit to Oman on August 19–20, 2025.

According to Oman’s National News Agency (ONA), during the visit, on August 19 in Muscat, Minister Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yousef. The two sides discussed the development of trade and economic cooperation between the friendly nations, including issues related to investment, imports and exports, and promising directions in the fields of industry and commerce.

The parties focused on expanding cooperation in transport, industry, mining, and tourism, enhancing public-private partnerships, diversifying sources of income, increasing trade turnover, and establishing strategic partnership relations between the two countries.

During the visit, the head of the Uzbek delegation also held talks with AbdulSalam bin Mohammed Al-Murshidi, Chairman of Oman’s Investment Authority.

The discussions centered on strengthening investment cooperation between Oman and Uzbekistan, implementing joint projects, and attracting foreign investment.
