A scientific conference titled "Cultural dimension and Uzbekistan–Oman Dialogue: The path of reforms" will be held in Tashkent on September 26.

A scientific conference titled "Cultural dimension and Uzbekistan–Oman Dialogue: The path of reforms" will be held in Tashkent on September 26.

The conference will be dedicated to the legacy of the founder of the Turkestan Jadid movement, the renowned writer and public figure Mahmudhoja Behbudi, and the former Sultan of Oman, Sultan Qaboos.

The event is being organized at the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and "Bait al-Qira’a" Women’s reading society of Oman.

The conference brings together scholars from Uzbekistan and Oman. As part of the program, an art exhibition featuring works by Omani women artists will also be held.
