On October 21 of this year, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Abdusalom Khatamov, paid a visit to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Oman and met with his esteemed counterpart, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Mousa Farhang.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on a number of current topics.

The conversation was held in a warm, sincere, and friendly atmosphere. As a gesture of respect and friendship, Mr. Khatamov presented Mr. Farhang with a book about Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur — a great commander, poet, and the founder of the Baburid Empire in India.
