On November 2, 2025, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, held a meeting with Mr. Dawood al-Kiyumiy, Deputy Chairman of the Sultan Qaboos Higher Center for Culture and Science.

During the meeting, Ambassador A.Khatamov expressed gratitude for the assistance provided in enhancing the qualifications of teachers and students of higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan where the Arabic language is taught.

The parties also discussed prospects for future cooperation between the Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent and the Sultan Qaboos Higher Center for Culture and Science in Oman.
