Salim Al-Khusaibi, a former correspondent of the prestigious Omani publication “Oman” newspaper, has composed a qasida in honor of Uzbekistan.

Salim Al-Khusaibi, a former correspondent of the prestigious Omani publication “Oman” newspaper, has composed a qasida in honor of Uzbekistan.

The journalist, who visited Uzbekistan with his friends in September this year, noted that he was inspired by our country’s glorious history, unique nature, rich culture, and the scientific heritage of our great ancestors.

The qasida was published in Oman’s Al-Takween online newspaper and was performed as a nasheed by another Omani entrepreneur, Abdullah Al-Rahbi.

The qasida features beautiful lines such as:

“Uzbekistan… land of the great,
Source of glory and honor, beloved homeland.”

This qasida and its nasheed version dedicated to our country have become a symbolic reflection of the friendly and deeply respectful relations between Uzbekistan and Oman.
