The Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, met with the Minister of Social Development of the Sultanate of Oman, Layla al-Najjar.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed social protection of the population between both countries. They also focused on supporting people in need, protecting women and children, and improving services for people with disabilities. Additionally, they reviewed the prospects for bilateral cooperation and sharing experience in these areas.

At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to build close cooperation in the social sphere. They decided to boost experience sharing among specialists, organize mutual practical visits, and launch joint training programs.
