From 7 to 13 July 2026, a business delegation led by Mr. Saif bin Nasser Al Taiwani, Member of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of its Al Dakhiliyah Branch, visited Uzbekistan to explore investment opportunities and promote bilateral business cooperation.
 

During the visit, meetings were held with the Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Deputy Governor of Samarkand Region, the leadership of the Samarkand Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and local business representatives.

The parties discussed prospects for joint projects in industry, infrastructure, tourism, food security, and other priority sectors. The delegation also visited the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Tashkent and UzOman Investment Company.
 

The visit reaffirmed the mutual commitment of Uzbekistan and the Sultanate of Oman to further strengthening business ties and expanding bilateral cooperation.
