Saad Suhail Bahwan, the head of the Oman Trading Establishment (Oman), in an interview with Dunyo on the eve of the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, expressed his thoughts on the effective results of the reforms being implemented in our country by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev:

- I first visited Uzbekistan 15 years ago. I returned to Uzbekistan in May of this year to participate in an important investment forum in Tashkent. During my visit, I had the honor of meeting with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. We asked to meet with the leader of Uzbekistan, and he agreed. I was amazed by how humble he is and how sincerely he wants to encourage foreign investors to come to Uzbekistan.

The Omani side was informed about the tourism potential of our country, the infrastructure created in this area, the introduction of a 30-day visa-free regime for citizens of the Gulf Arab countries, in particular Omanis, to Uzbekistan, and the planned launch of direct flights on the Muscat-Tashkent route in the near future.

During the meeting, issues of establishing academic ties, exchanging experiences, and organizing visits between the Oman Royal Academy of Administration and the Academy of Public Policy and Governance under the President of Uzbekistan were discussed.

The Omani newspaper "al-Ruyya" and the electronic publication "hormuz.news" published articles titled "Tourism ties between Oman and Uzbekistan are strengthening."

The publications reported that it has become easier for citizens of Oman and other Gulf Arab states to travel abroad, as several foreign countries, including Uzbekistan, have canceled entry visas for citizens of Gulf states for up to thirty days.
